The seed library is designed to integrate with our public library system and utilize existing infrastructure. Members of the public sign up, just like they would for a library card and then gain access to the seeds when they need them for free. Once the seeds have been grown they are responsible for returning a certain percentage of seeds back to the Library so that Copia can remain self sustaining. My role largely consisted of organizing images and copy as well as allocating advertising space and sponsor logo pages. With the average age of farmers in Ontario being 54, agriculture clearly needs new blood.
